New Hess Is More Album: Apollonian Solos

I’m very excited to share something new from the Hess is More family :) I contributed two tracks to this album and am happy with how it all came out.

This collection of ‘Apollonian Solos’ features members of Hess Is More sending musical messages from various lockdown locations across the globe.

Matt Parker's spontaneous rendition of the jazz classic “Like Someone In Love” kicks things off and is followed by seven exquisite interpretations of tunes from the Hess Is More songbook.

In a transatlantic tour de chambre spanning from the concrete mazes of Manhattan and Brooklyn to the gardens and lakes of The Hudson Valley and Connecticut all the way back over to our headquarters in Copenhagen and Hesnæs, listeners are invited into homes and workplaces for rare and intimate performances.
The overall concept being that each musician performs and records a live take - no edits, no overdubs.

This music was created under the influence of recent Hess Is More live stream projects: ‘Transatlantic Thursdays’ - ‘Apollonian Breakdown’ - ‘Apollonian Corner.’
