Saxophonist/Composer/Improviser Matt Parker has been steadily gaining recognition in the music world for his unique blend of avant-garde jazz and contemporary sounds. Praised by the New York Jazz Record for his "innovative spirit and chameleon-like style," Parker has collaborated with a wide array of artists, from Ariana Grande to the Mingus Big Band. His illustrious career includes a significant milestone working with legendary trumpeter Maynard Ferguson. Recently, he toured with Postmodern Jukebox, showcasing his versatility and captivating performances.
Celebrated for his albums “Worlds Put Together” (2014), “Present Time” (2016), and his latest release, “Parker Plays X” (2023), Parker's compositions are characterized by complex harmonies and bold melodies, earning accolades from critics and fans alike.
